ABS on mountain bikes, the innovation!
Braking deceleration with ABS up to 7.5 m/s2
A major innovation for biking safety. Whether tarred road, gravel path, meadow, rough terrain... wet or dry... with ABS zero problemo...
The ABS masters emergency braking for you, even for inexperienced riders. The unique system can be programmed in four different riding modes. The electronics measure the relevant data, such as speed, front wheel speed, etc., in real time. The highly developed software algorithm also recognizes the condition of the current surface and thus controls the maximum possible braking power. Depending on the mode, the ABS also prevents forward rollover.
ABS on difficult MTB terrain?
This is precisely where the superiority of our ABS becomes apparent. In the specially created EXTREM mode, the system regulates extremely quickly at the limits of braking and riding ability. This means that even less experienced riders can concentrate on the road and thus better avoid crashes.
For the pros: If you brake later, you stay faster for longer... ABS makes it possible!
Front brake left or right?
The bicycle/bike is the only two-wheeler with the front brake on the left. WHY? There is no technical and logical explanation for this, it's probably an old myth. Physically, we brake approx. 70% of the energy with the front wheel. It is therefore only logical to place this enormously important part in the hand that can do it best. For most people, this is the right hand. For pure left-handers, however, it may be better on the left. Left or right, you decide.
This bicycle, which is over 100 years old, is in the " Rhaetian Museum " in Chur. You can see that the front brake is on the right-hand side of the handlebars...
A clue to our theory.
